Position Overview:
The Customer Operations Administrator II plays a crucial role in facilitating sales success by executing administrative functions for designated clients. This position requires collaboration with business managers, Customer Account Managers, and Regional Sales Managers to ensure seamless communication between the organization, its clients, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate client purchase orders to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Administer and oversee purchase orders, ensuring that all requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
- Interpret and input purchase order details into the ERP system, providing timely acknowledgments to clients.
- Resolve complex client issues and manage accounts of significant value.
- Prepare prompt responses to client requests for quotes (RFQs) by coordinating internally to relay pricing and delivery information.
- Support accounts receivable processes to address overdue payments for assigned clients.
- Process warranty returns and ensure timely resolution to meet client needs.
- Establish and nurture relationships with clients by providing accurate updates on shipments through various communication methods.
- Administer customer web-based portals to manage returned goods and related transactions.
- Support demand management to ensure accurate client forecasts are entered into the ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with applicable export regulations.
- Validate client scorecards and address discrepancies to align with actual performance metrics.
- Coordinate new product introduction (NPI) shipments and milestone billings with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by understanding and utilizing Crane Business System tools.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Train new Customer Service Administrators on essential functions and processes.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a relevant customer service role.
Knowledge: Familiarity with business administration concepts, customer portals, export regulations, and compliance requirements.
Skills: Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and strong organizational and communication skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle and in the aerospace manufacturing sector.
Working Conditions:
Standard office environment with potential exposure to manufacturing conditions requiring safety equipment.
