Empower Brands is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Sales Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from initial request for information to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed estimates, including subcontractor and self-perform analysis, for commercial fencing projects.
- Source new suppliers and vendors for non-typical items of work.
- Attend job walks, site meetings, and other meetings to ensure accurate project scope and timelines.
- Prepare material submittals and shop drawings, gathering product data and information for submission on awarded projects.
- Monitor bids from start to finish and work with the project estimating team throughout the entire bidding process.
- Perform project site visits and assist with project coordination and issue resolution.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to maintain confidential company proprietary information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads efficiently and work independently.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in fast-paced environments.
- Experience using Microsoft Office or Google's G Suites.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of estimating experience in commercial and public works construction, preferably in the fencing and/or guardrail industry.
- Experience using Google's G Suites.
