Job Description

Fidelity Information Services (FIS) is seeking a highly skilled Switch Implementation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality implementation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of client products and services through information gathering sessions to determine how FIS systems must be established to meet client needs.
  • Through data analysis, product mapping, and interviews, gather forms and data files from customers and assess requirements for software utilization and discuss any software customization requirements with the programming team.
  • Create data maps and transaction workflow documents showing exactly how every field of information will be converted. Data mapping forms the technical specification for the conversion and, in some cases, may generate code. Share data maps with programmers, clients, and others as appropriate to ensure successful conversion. Refine mapping through validation.
  • As part of the conversion process, test customized software against customer-specific needs, sharing reports and application-specific data with customers that reflect how conversion data will be processed. Review conversion results (reports, balancing, data load, software changes) with the client to refine and confirm requirements. Obtain formal customer acceptance of results.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in implementation with a switch domain.
  • Good to have experience in C++ skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
