About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Self-Checkout Host at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and friendly service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Self-Checkout Operations: Oversee self-checkout units, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate scanning, weighing, and payment processing.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items, promotions, and events, providing direction to customers on product location throughout the store.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure self-checkout areas are always maintained in a clean and orderly condition, executing all related duties as assigned.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Requirements
  • Age and Education: Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a retail, customer service, or sales environment, with 1-2 years of cashier experience preferred.
  • Skills: Possess a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift, carry, and move products weighing up to 30 pounds, and use both hands to move grocery carts.
