Position Overview:

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in assisting the Store Leadership Team in reaching all corporate objectives and strategies.

This position requires a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service through effective communication, comprehensive product knowledge, and appropriate sales techniques.

The Sales Associate is also responsible for upholding company standards regarding merchandise presentation, restocking, and organization while ensuring a tidy and welcoming store environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:
Stay alert to customer interactions and respond promptly, prioritizing customer assistance over other responsibilities.
Welcome and acknowledge customers, providing them with the necessary level of service.

Clearly communicate the value and quality of our products while informing customers about current promotions and offering alternatives for items that may be out of stock.

Utilize sound judgment to effectively resolve customer issues.
Exhibit proficient selling techniques to enhance conversion rates.
Deliver quick, friendly, and precise service at the cash register while educating customers on the advantages of the PLACE Card.
Ensure adequate stock levels and that all sizes and styles are available.
Adhere to company guidelines for merchandise presentation, signage, and display.

Maintain a clean, organized stockroom that is customer-ready, while following safety protocols.

Perform daily cleaning tasks to meet company standards.
Protect company assets by complying with all Loss Prevention policies.

Promptly inform the Store Leadership Team of any maintenance or facility requirements to guarantee a clean and safe environment for customers and associates.

Contribute focused efforts towards achieving store objectives.
Demonstrate flexibility by assisting with stock processing as needed.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Prior retail experience is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Skills and Attributes:
Exceptional customer engagement skills.
Proven time management and organizational abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Must be adaptable and flexible to changing priorities.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs, including weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts.
Ability to navigate the sales floor and stockroom; climb ladders, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
