Operations Support Specialist Job Summary

The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical and administrative support for the day-to-day operations of a business. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of systems and processes, and providing administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers and staff, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure that all systems and processes are running efficiently.
  • Install and configure hardware, software, and networks.
  • Perform system maintenance tasks, including system upgrades and patches.
  • Create and maintain user accounts and access levels.
  • Monitor network security and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Generate reports, analyze data, and document processes.
  • Provide administrative support to staff as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in system administration and technical support.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
