About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Professional to join our team at Cumulus Media Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, growing existing client relationships, and delivering effective multi-platform sales presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify client business needs by gaining a deep understanding of their goals, objectives, and processes, as well as their external environment, including key market and consumer trends.
  • Deliver effective multi-platform, integrated sales presentations, including broadcast, digital, and events.
  • Negotiate and close deals with clients to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop strong familiarity with Cumulus' station digital assets, including streaming, station websites, and social advertising, to deliver a complete marketing solution to advertisers.
  • Excel at prospecting and aggressively seeking new clientele through networking, cold calling, canvassing, referrals, or other means.
  • Follow all station and corporate procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, submitting regular reports, and maintaining a full pipeline of sales prospects.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms, and CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience developing new business relationships in an outside sales role.
  • Strong understanding of lead generation and ability to connect with viable prospects.
  • Comprehension of sales metrics to fill a sales funnel and maintain a robust pipeline of residual business.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to get beyond comfort zone, and high energy.
  • Digitally savvy and flexible.
