Key Responsibilities for the Sales Account Executive:

  • Achieve sales targets by engaging with clients and sustaining strong relationships.
  • Propose service and product improvements to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Evaluate plans and market trends to optimize territory assignments, client distribution, and service delivery.
  • Enhance technical and professional knowledge through industry publications, networking, and building enduring client connections.
  • Set sales goals by estimating expected sales volumes and conducting forecasts.
  • Stay informed about economic indicators, evolving trends, supply and demand fluctuations, and product assortments.
  • Contribute positively to the overall sales and customer service teams.
  • Collaborate on both long-term and short-term sales strategies.

Qualifications for the Sales Account Executive:

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in Building Materials or Construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of lumber, building materials, concrete, roofing, and/or precast products.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and surpassing sales goals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven capability to establish rapport and cultivate relationships with clients.
  • Highly driven and results-focused.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
