Key Responsibilities for the Sales Account Executive:
- Achieve sales targets by engaging with clients and sustaining strong relationships.
- Propose service and product improvements to enhance sales opportunities.
- Evaluate plans and market trends to optimize territory assignments, client distribution, and service delivery.
- Enhance technical and professional knowledge through industry publications, networking, and building enduring client connections.
- Set sales goals by estimating expected sales volumes and conducting forecasts.
- Stay informed about economic indicators, evolving trends, supply and demand fluctuations, and product assortments.
- Contribute positively to the overall sales and customer service teams.
- Collaborate on both long-term and short-term sales strategies.
Qualifications for the Sales Account Executive:
- 3-5 years of sales experience in Building Materials or Construction.
- In-depth knowledge of lumber, building materials, concrete, roofing, and/or precast products.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and surpassing sales goals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven capability to establish rapport and cultivate relationships with clients.
- Highly driven and results-focused.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
