Business Development Consultant

Commonwealth Financial Network is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Consultant to join our team. As a Business Development Consultant, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with prospective advisors, existing advisors, and centers of influence to drive growth and expansion of our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to inbound inquiries and requests for proposals and connect with leads
- Build out your region with leads, prospective advisors, existing advisors, and centers of influence, and proactively communicate to develop a strong network
- Provide leads and prospective advisors with information about the firm, and drive the process forward from your first interaction while evaluating the relationship for fit
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with well-suited prospects and existing advisors, and ensure that Commonwealth is front of mind when they are considering a firm
- Work with subject-matter experts across the firm to demonstrate how advisors can grow by leveraging our platform and people
- Coordinate and host advisor home office visits, and travel to prospective advisors' offices
- Collaborate with the Transition team for smooth and seamless transition experiences
- Suggest creative new ways to improve recruitment approaches and share industry knowledge across the team
- Motivated self-starter who can bring in quality prospective advisors, build strong prospect relationships, and focus on conversion
- Strong verbal and written communicator
- Excellent listener and analytical thinker
- Proven time management and organizational abilities
- Works well in a team environment
