Records Management Systems Analyst

Position Overview:

In this full-time role, the contractor will be responsible for developing a records management framework that complies with Department of Energy (DOE) standards from the ground up. This position requires a thorough understanding of the organization's operations, effective management of diverse record types, and collaboration with Federal program office personnel. It is essential to remain updated on guidelines from the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and the DOE's records management oversight office to ensure success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the creation and ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive file plan, ensuring timely submissions that align with DOE specifications.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions on records management practices.
  • Participate in monthly meetings of the DOE records management working group.
  • Establish and maintain consistent communication with office records liaisons to provide updates and clarify records management requirements.
  • Lead the initiative to construct the records management system and framework for MIRACORP.
  • Implement records management protocols across both new and existing systems.
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes related to records management for staff members.
