Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our sales team members, store leaders, and key organizational leaders at the Tom James Company. As a valued member of our support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter Order Tickets, Customer Order Forms, and customer payments daily into our proprietary system.
  • Unpack received shipments daily and prepare garments for delivery to sales professionals.
  • Process returns, remakes, and alterations, and prepare all clothing for delivery.
  • Pick up and deliver client items as needed.
  • Enter alteration instructions into our system and deliver/pick up garments to/from outside tailors.
  • Compile Alteration Expense Summary for in-house tailors and send to Accounting.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, check store email daily, and give messages to sales professionals.
  • Make follow-up calls to factories, customers, and corporate office, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience with social media platforms for marketing and research purposes.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer, Microsoft Office software, and Google Docs.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to bend and lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Valid Driver's License (Exception: larger metropolitan areas).
