- Perform clinical diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including general imaging studies, cardiac studies, and therapeutic radionuclide administrations.
- Operate computer systems, gamma cameras, and radiation detectors to ensure accurate and efficient diagnostic examinations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and develop effective treatment plans.
- Conduct quality control checks on equipment and supplies to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
Working Conditions:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Queen's Health System, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will be exposed to radioactive materials and radiation, and must be able to adjust your schedule for on-call coverage, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements:
- Current Hawaii State license as a Nuclear Medical Technologist.
- Current BLS/HCP certification.
- Experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred.
