We are seeking an experienced and skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Chit Chat Diner in West Orange, NJ.

Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the restaurant, ensuring seamless execution of our service standards.
  • Staff Management: Lead and motivate our team members, providing guidance and feedback to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Scheduling and Training: Create and manage weekly schedules, conduct training sessions, and provide consistent feedback to staff.
  • Expo and Bartending: Assist with food preparation and presentation, as well as bartending duties as needed.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 30lbs+ and stand for long periods, with ability to bend and move efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of restaurant management experience, with a strong background in food service.
  • Education: A degree in Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management is preferred.
  • Language Skills: Bi-lingual skills are a plus.
  • Certifications: Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol Certifications are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in technical skills required for the role.
