About the Role

Vasion is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the UX design strategy and execution across all product lines. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute UX Design Strategy: Align UX design with the company's overall product vision and business goals.
  • Lead and Mentor UX Design Team: Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, guiding a team of UX designers, researchers, and other design professionals.
  • Advocate for User-Centered Design: Ensure user experience is prioritized in product development, promoting design standards across the organization.
  • Oversee User Interface Design: Ensure designs are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and aligned with the brand.
  • Drive Design Concepts and Prototypes: Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Apply knowledge of emerging technologies and design practices to improve products.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product managers, engineers, marketing, and other teams to integrate UX design into the product development process.
  • Present Design Concepts: Communicate design strategies to senior leadership, gathering feedback and iterating on designs as needed.
  • Ensure Clear Communication: Align the design team with other departments, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Oversee User Research: Conduct usability testing, user interviews, and surveys to gather insights that inform design decisions.
  • Analyze Research Data: Identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for product improvement.
  • Implement Continuous Feedback: Develop and maintain a process for gathering user feedback and iterating on designs.
  • Manage and Develop UX Design Team: Provide guidance, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth, ensuring the team's success.
  • Allocate Resources Effectively: Ensure design projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Foster a Culture of Collaboration: Encourage a culture of creativity, excellence, and teamwork within the design team.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or a related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in UX design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in designing and delivering digital products.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead and manage design teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Design Principles and Methodologies: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and strategies to various stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Figma and experience in SaaS.
  • Business Acumen: Proactive, ownership mindset with the ability to drive initiatives to completion.
