Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Specialist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed MRI procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures under the general direction of the radiologist and supervisor
  • Use hospital and radiology information systems to access patient information and track exams
  • Document patient information, exam details, and machine performance data
  • Set up and administer IV contrast media, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Position patients and MRI equipment to optimize image quality
  • Review patient information sheets and determine positioning and technique for each exam
  • Collaborate with other technologists and medical staff to ensure high-quality exams and patient care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification in New York State
  • ARRT Certification/Registration - MRI
  • BLS Certification
