Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Specialist to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed MRI procedures with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Administer intravenous contrast media as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Position patients and MRI equipment to optimize image quality and minimize patient discomfort
  • Review patient information and requisitions to determine the type of exam required
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification in New York State
  • ARRT Certification/Registration
