Job Description

Stratas Foods LLC is a leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients, and Retail Private Label markets in North America. We are a producer of quality bulk and packaged dressings, mayonnaise, and sauces.

As a Territory Sales Representative, you will play a key role in providing dedicated direct sales development support to foodservice operators and bakeries. You will work in harmony with our broker organization, reporting to our Division Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify operator targets to call on to sell our National Brands products, with a focus on local and regional chain operators.
  • Set up and monitor key Operator Fry tests and product samplings.
  • Achieve assigned goals and objectives through direct selling support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Distributors Street sales reps, aiming to become their Stratas National Brands leader in Oils products.
  • Lead key Operator sales growth through timely lead follow-up and fry test management, providing product solutions, market intelligence, and technical expertise.
  • Manage multiple tasks surrounding the Business, including Total Fry test process management, Salad dressing, Sauces, Mayo cuttings, Butter Flavored Oil uses, and demonstrations.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and skill enhancements, including professional presentations, organizational skills, and proficiency in using promotional tools.
  • Support and direct One Foodservice strategy, funneling commodity opportunities to Distributor brands managers and inside sales to achieve overall corporate goals.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for efficient opportunity management and Customer relationship management.
Requirements
  • Effective Presentation Skills are essential to ensure maximum performance.
  • Ability to understand Business dynamics of selling propositions and defend them effectively.
  • Ability to balance cost vs. value effectively across the Branded Portfolio.
Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Culinary, Food Marketing, or General business related field.
  • Five to seven years of Foodservice experience in an outside sales role, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Distributor Sales, Broker Sales, or Manufacturer sales experience.
  • Ability to handle diversity of tasks and manage them effectively.
