Electrophysiology Care Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrophysiology Technician to join our team at Sentara Healthcare. As an EP Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures and device implants.
Compensation Information
The estimated annual salary for this position is $130,000 - $160,000, based on location and experience.
Job Overview
This is a full-time day shift position, Monday through Friday, with 4 ten-hour shifts from 7am-5:30pm. No call or overtime required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support physicians during electrophysiology procedures and device implants
- Provide patient care to all electrophysiology patients, including data collection and reduction
- Contribute to didactic and clinical training programs
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A high school graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of cardiovascular technology or Bachelor's Level Degree preferred
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or registry eligible required
- At least 1 year of related work experience
