Job Summary

The Registered Nursing (RN) position in our Electrophysiology Lab at Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, Virginia requires a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.">
  • Meet and maintain any requirements defined by specific clinical areas, such as Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire.">
  • Possess clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.">

Requirements

This full-time, day shift position requires:

">
  • ">
  • A minimum of ASN or RN Diploma; BSN or MSN preferred.">
  • RN licensure required, with BLS within 90 days of hire and ACLS within 1 year.">
  • Strongly prefer previous EP or Cath Lab experience, including circulating and monitoring invasive cardiac procedures, endovascular procedures, and interventional radiology procedures.">
  • Ability to work Monday - Friday: 4/ten-hour shifts from 7am-5:30pm, with a varying day off per week.">
  • Per Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), proof of education may be required.">

$63,500 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience.
