At SIXT USA, we are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at the Boston Airport branch. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the vehicle distribution and turnaround processes to ensure seamless customer experiences and drive rental growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and expenses to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
  • Develop and implement efficient turnaround processes to minimize downtime and maximize vehicle availability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with branch managers, staff, service providers, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
  • Establish and communicate daily vehicle needs to vendors to ensure timely turnaround and movement.
  • Create weekly forecasts for subcontractor needs to support cleaning and vehicle movement processes.
  • Manage the cleaning and servicing of vehicles at the QTA to ensure smooth operation of fleet movement from return to ready line.
  • Ensure quality control by performing vehicle inspections to review subcontractor performance.
  • Collaborate with the branch management team to understand logistics needs and support fleet planners in ensuring subcontractors meet vehicle reservation demands.
  • Investigate and resolve operational and customer issues promptly and effectively.
  • Lead daily game plan meetings with subcontractor managers, fleet department, and fleet planners/customer service agents to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Coordinate vehicle movement to and from overflow lots to optimize space and traffic flow.
  • Manage driver activity to ensure maintenance vehicles are moved to optimal locations, maximizing lot space and traffic flow.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the car rental industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in managing large-scale operational teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in multiple languages a plus.
  • Expert issue resolution and efficient handling of complaints.
  • Flexible and resilient with strong organizational skills.
  • Self-confident and responsible with a high level of empathy.
