Your Impact

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale web and API applications on AWS, prioritizing performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Integrate our systems with essential Amazon services, including e-commerce, identity, and security.
- Collaborate in brainstorming sessions to create new services that support products and initiatives within our AWS Learning Services domain.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for enhancing business processes through software automation.
- Collaborate on our technology roadmap to transform visions into reality.
- Engage in Agile development practices.
On-Call Duties
This role includes on-call responsibilities, typically one week every two months. We prioritize system fault tolerance to minimize disruptions during off-hours. When issues arise, we work collaboratively to identify and resolve the root causes to prevent recurrence.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
- 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
