About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Delivery Engineer to join our team at CloudBolt Software. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud automation solutions that drive business value and improve delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud automation frameworks and tools to improve delivery performance
  • Lead the development of automated delivery pipelines to move from manual silos to visible, CI/CD
  • Drive adoption of modern DevOps practices and conventions across the team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
Requirements
  • Strong experience with declarative IaC frameworks (CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
  • Proven track record of building continuous delivery systems
  • Experience with managing day-2 operations with modern observability concepts (metrics, events, logging, traces)
  • Cloud native development and DevOps principles
  • Developing in public (AWS, Azure, GCP) and private cloud contexts (VMware, RedHat)
  • Working with containers, 12-factor app patterns and serverless architecture
  • Working collaboratively with other strong engineering leaders
  • Being a transformational force in engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails and/or Django application frameworks
  • Data architecture in relational and non-relational contexts
  • Building applications with AI/ML integrations
