Job Overview

The Sales Order Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless processing of customer orders and managing inventory effectively. This position is integral to maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Management: Act as the primary contact for assigned customers, overseeing spares management activities and ensuring compliance with customer contracts.
  • Inventory Monitoring: Utilize inventory tracking systems to monitor stock levels and generate replenishment orders as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Material Planners and Buyers, to address inventory challenges and support timely delivery.
  • Customer Communication: Manage customer communications regarding order status, invoicing, and any issues that may arise.
  • Reporting: Compile and analyze reports related to consumption, forecasts, and critical shortages to inform decision-making.
  • AOG Support: Provide support for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) material needs, including warehouse operations and expedited services.
Required Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with a strong understanding of data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:

A minimum of a high school diploma or GED, along with at least two years of experience in customer service, sales, or materials management is required. Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is essential.

Work Environment:

This position requires a commitment to working on-site and engaging with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational success.
