Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate group room blocks in the property management system
  • Take over group bookings for the sales teams
  • Sell meeting space
  • Perform various administrative duties, including data entry and payment collection
  • Notify and coordinate customer specifications with other departments
  • Respond to customer issues, comments, and problems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate and legible records and files
  • Create event proposals and contracts
  • Work closely with clients to obtain and update event details
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent education/experience
  • One to two full years of employment in a related position
  • Experience with property management systems and/or data entry software preferred
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs)
  • Ability to bend, lift, and be standing or walking during entire shift
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state

Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The Sales Coordinator must be able to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations and maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
