Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Leave Administrator to join our team at I Am Boundless. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, short-term disability, workers' compensation claims, and unemployment claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage leave cases, including FMLA, ADA, short-term disability, workers' compensation claims, and unemployment claims.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure the workers' compensation program is managed in accordance with applicable OSHA and workers' compensation laws.
  • Develop and maintain reporting systems to identify complex cases that require legal involvement.
  • Maintain OSHA logs and other tracking logs.
  • Provide case management and coordinate administrative aspects of cases and claims with vendors.
  • Conduct investigations into reported workers' compensation claims.
  • Coordinate with management to develop plans for restrictions and return-to-work accommodations.
  • Participate in interactive conversations with staff members.
  • Ensure that all reportable workers' compensation claims are submitted to the company's vendor within 48 business hours from the date of the incident.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in human resources, business administration, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in managing leave cases (FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and unemployment).
  • In-depth knowledge of government regulations, state, and employment laws.
  • Strong organizational skills and computer proficiency (MS Office).
  • Self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
