Position SummaryWe are looking for individuals with a valid CDL Class A or B license who are interested in full-time positions that involve traveling across various states including OH, PA, KY, MI, and TN as part of a road crew.

- Assist in the closure and reopening of roadways, including setting up and removing cones and signage, flagging traffic, and preparing the roadway for rejuvenation.
- Distribute flyers to residents and businesses regarding upcoming roadwork.
- Engage with residents, city officials, and business owners to address inquiries.
- Load materials into the dump truck using a front-end loader.
- Operate the dump truck to apply a sand mixture to the roadway.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance on the spreader and auger of the dump truck.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of driving time and expenses.
- Ensure the work truck is clean and in good working condition, performing routine maintenance and inspections.
- Report any safety hazards or DOT violations promptly.
- Learn to operate and maintain a sweeper truck and dump truck for cross-training.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Valid CDL Class A or B license.
- Successful completion of the Flagger course.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations.
- Clean driving and Clearing House records.
- Willingness to travel out of town for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in traffic environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with technology and various software applications.
- A collaborative team player.
- Basic math skills including addition, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform all assigned physical tasks.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and using hand/arm movements with limited breaks.
- Engage in physical activities that require climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling materials.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including rain and heat.
- Must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
