Job Overview

Riveon Mental Health and Recovery is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee our operations across multiple locations.

Position Summary: The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and safety of all facilities. This role includes supervising personnel, managing safety evaluations, maintenance activities, contracts, and renovation initiatives. Additionally, the manager will maintain documentation, comply with safety regulations, and oversee budget management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, supervise, and evaluate the performance of maintenance and dietary staff.
  • Conduct regular safety evaluations and oversee maintenance planning and execution.
  • Manage service agreements and serve as the main point of contact for contractors.
  • Coordinate renovation and relocation projects effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and cleanliness protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities to meet health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure facilities adhere to code requirements and maintenance procedures.
  • Delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks, conduct inspections, and monitor building conditions.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets while adhering to health and safety policies.
  • Assist with maintenance and installation tasks as necessary and seek cost-effective solutions.
  • Participate in safety committees, oversee contracts, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Address security concerns, manage purchasing, reporting, and community relations.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform snow and ice removal as needed.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in facilities management.
  • Experience in contract management.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
  • Experience in planning and managing facility budgets.
  • Valid Driver's License and insurability through the agency's automobile insurance.
  • Ability to operate various vehicles and use manual and power tools.
  • Availability to respond at any time when required.
  • Effective communication skills with diverse populations.
  • Advanced knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems is essential. Familiarity with HVAC systems is preferred. Experience with electronic maintenance/work order systems is a plus.

Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.

Certification: Technical certifications in a related field are preferred (e.g., Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or equivalent).

Travel Requirements: Minimal to moderate travel, primarily local, using an agency vehicle.

Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
