Your Role:
The Commercial Vehicle Rental Specialist will oversee the sales and marketing of Velocity's Truck Rental offerings. This role includes managing the daily operations of the commercial truck rental fleet, focusing on fleet utilization and revenue generation while ensuring top-tier customer service for all accounts. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player with a results-oriented mindset, ready to surpass expectations. Success in this position requires strong problem-solving abilities, a proactive attitude, and the capacity to make profitable decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively market the commercial truck rental services of Velocity Truck Rental & Leasing.
  • Design and implement effective marketing strategies aimed at achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Contribute to team and organizational goals through collaboration and open communication.
  • Meet all marketing performance targets.
  • Oversee the utilization, revenue, and costs associated with the assigned rental fleet.
  • Ensure accurate rental unit ratings are maintained for precise billing on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Employ effective time management to service existing clients while pursuing new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for daily operations.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Aptitude for thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must successfully pass a post-offer drug screening.
Compensation:
  • Salary range of $66,560 to $69,500 based on skills and qualifications.
