Your Role:
The Rental Account Manager will oversee the marketing and sales of Velocity's Commercial Truck Rental offerings. This role also entails managing the daily operations of the commercial truck rental fleet, focusing on fleet utilization and revenue per unit while ensuring top-tier customer service for all accounts. The ideal candidate for the Rental Account Manager position is a results-oriented team player, self-driven, and motivated to surpass expectations. A successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, a proactive attitude, and the capacity to make sound, profitable decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively market the commercial truck rental services of Velocity Truck Rental & Leasing.
- Design and implement an effective marketing strategy aimed at achieving measurable outcomes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all internal and external clients consistently.
- Contribute to team and organizational goals through collaboration, open communication, and constructive feedback.
- Meet all marketing quotas and objectives.
- Oversee the utilization, revenue, and expenses associated with the assigned rental fleet.
- Ensure accurate rental unit ratings are recorded for timely billing on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Employ effective time management to serve existing clients, manage operational tasks, and consistently pursue new business opportunities.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for daily operations.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask while maintaining a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Aptitude for thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Must successfully pass a post-offer drug screening.
- Salary range: $66,560 - $69,500 based on skills and qualifications.
