Vehicle Maintenance and Fueling Specialist

Paratransit, Inc. is currently seeking applications for a Full-time Vehicle Maintenance and Fueling Specialist. The working hours will vary, and candidates must meet age requirements for insurability.
This role entails the inspection, cleaning, washing, and fueling of buses, vehicles, and various equipment. Additionally, the specialist will perform minor servicing tasks on assigned vehicles and engage in a range of general cleaning, maintenance, and delivery responsibilities. The Vehicle Maintenance and Fueling Specialist will operate under direct supervision and adhere to established policies and procedures.
Key Qualifications:
- Capability to clean, maneuver, and fuel buses
- Possession of a valid California Class C Driver License
- Effective communication skills in both verbal and written forms
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster are strongly encouraged

Compensation:
The starting wage for this position is $17.00 per hour, accompanied by a $400.00 sign-on bonus, distributed in increments after specific periods of employment. This role qualifies for Free Kaiser Medical and Free MetLife Dental Benefits starting from the first day of the following complete calendar month. Employees will enjoy eleven paid designated holidays annually, accrue four floating holidays, and receive twelve paid vacation and sick leave days each year. Uniform shirts will be provided at no cost.
Should a job offer be extended, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment drug testing (including marijuana), fingerprint clearance, and a post-offer physical examination. All job offers are contingent upon the successful completion of these requirements and the ability to provide necessary documentation to confirm eligibility to work in the United States.
