We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Driver to join our team at F & S Produce Company. As a Commercial Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of company vehicles and the delivery of products to customer locations.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate commercial classified vehicles.
- Perform and record DOT and other governmental required inspections.
- Complete paperwork as necessary and in a timely manner.
- Load and unload truck as necessary to deliver product to customers.
- Use of lift-trucks when necessary.
- Interact with plant personnel and customer staff as necessary to perform delivery.
- High School diploma required.
- Three years commercial driving experience preferred.
- CA CDL-Class A certification with no restrictions.
- Current DOT Medical Certification.
- Less than 2 driving points on Driving Record.
The Commercial Driver will work in a cold working environment (approx. 37F) and will be exposed to physical hazards of working in and about moving machinery. The risk of vehicle collision by travel on streets and roadways is also a consideration.
