Quality and Claims Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Claims Manager to join our team at Sheffield Metals International. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in all aspects of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and resolve customer and vendor issues related to quality and claims
- Develop and implement quality and lean systems to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
- Conduct field inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Prepare quality reports and communicate with customers, functional managers, and leadership team
- Manage claims and warranties, and ensure all team members are properly trained in quality and lean principles
- Collaborate with functional managers to create procedures and processes to ensure quality and safety requirements are met
- Ensure SMI/Mazzella Management System Key Performance Indicators are on target
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Systems Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- Experience in safety and safety processes is preferred
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills
- Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, drug screen, and E-verify
