The Client Relationship Banker role is an entry-level opportunity designed to assist in the execution of sales, product offerings, and service activities in collaboration with the customer service team.

The primary aim of this position is to cultivate relationships with clients to enhance loyalty and drive sales among individual consumer accounts.


Key Responsibilities:


Manage business credit requests under $250K, identify and refer larger lending opportunities, and promote treasury and related small business products.

Develop referral business through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program.

Support strategies to expand the small business client base and implement effective sales plans targeting Book of Business customers.

Provide client services through outbound and inbound calls to establish new relationships and strengthen existing ones by cross-selling relevant products and services while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Offer coaching and guidance to Tellers and other branch personnel on products and special programs, identifying client needs, and making suitable referrals.

Recognize client transaction needs, educate clients on all service and digital channels, and utilize available technology and marketing tools to uncover opportunities, presenting product offers and financial solutions.

Ensure compliance with Citibank policies, standards, and procedures.

Assess risk appropriately in business decisions, considering the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring adherence to applicable laws, rules, and regulations, applying sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices, and transparently managing and reporting control issues.


Qualifications:
0-2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred background in banking, retail, or sales.
Familiarity with Smart Banking tools and technologies.
NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal forms.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation:
Salary range of $58,000 to $81,210.00
In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
