Trustar Bank is currently in search of a qualified Branch Manager for our Tysons location. The Branch Manager will lead the branch team, ensuring exceptional customer service while overseeing branch sales, service, and operations. The Branch Manager will adhere to all established policies and procedures of the bank.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver prompt, efficient, and accurate service while representing the bank to customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Conduct external sales calls and meetings to cultivate new business clients and enhance deposits and loans.
  • Establish and promote the Trustar Bank brand within the market and leverage influential networks.
  • Participate in networking events to generate business leads.
  • Collaborate with the bank's lending officers to analyze customer deposit relationships and conduct joint calls.
  • Oversee the overall management of the branch, focusing on sales, service, operations, and staffing.
  • Drive cross-selling of bank products and services to strengthen existing client relationships.
  • Mentor and coach branch team members to excel in sales and service skills, including conducting performance reviews.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks to ensure the branch consistently complies with all bank policies and procedures, including account openings, teller operations, security protocols, BSA compliance, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.

A minimum of five to seven years of banking experience, including customer service, teller training, and new accounts training; prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Must maintain a professional appearance.

Ability to remain composed and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Knowledge

Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to represent the bank positively in client interactions. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to function effectively as a team member. Clear communication skills over the phone and in person.

Working Conditions

Continuous daily interaction with customers and the public, performing recurring tasks. Close daily contact with peers, management, and other bank employees. Work schedules may include evenings and weekends.
