Trustar Bank is currently on the lookout for a qualified Branch Manager for our Tysons location. The Branch Manager will lead the branch team, ensuring high-quality customer service and overseeing branch sales, service, and operations while adhering to all established bank policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the Bank to customers in a courteous and professional manner, providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service.
  • Conduct outside sales calls and meetings to cultivate new business clients and enhance deposits and loans.
  • Establish and promote the Trustar Bank brand in the market while leveraging centers of influence.
  • Participate in networking events to generate business leads.
  • Collaborate with the bank's lending officers to analyze customer deposit relationships and conduct joint calls.
  • Oversee the overall management of the branch, focusing on sales, service, operations, and staffing.
  • Drive cross-selling of bank products and services to deepen existing client relationships.
  • Coach and mentor branch team members to enhance their sales and service skills, including conducting performance reviews.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks to ensure the branch complies with all bank policies and procedures, including account openings, teller operations, security protocols, BSA compliance, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.

A minimum of five to seven years of banking experience, including customer service, teller training, and new accounts training; prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Must maintain a professional image.

Ability to remain composed and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Knowledge

Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to represent the Bank positively in client interactions. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Clear communication skills over the phone and in person.

Working Conditions

Regular daily interaction with customers and the public while performing routine tasks. Close daily collaboration with peers, management, and other bank employees. Work schedules may include evenings and weekends.
