Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing sales strategies by market and customer, working as a liaison between sales, product, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent relational sales and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Head of Sales to create and hold accountable to Sales Key Performance Indicators

• Oversee Strategic Account Sales and identify gaps that need to be filled

• Create Value-propositions and focus on solution selling with alignment to the corporate vision

• Ensure fiscal responsibility and good stewardship by following the sales budget

• Demonstrate and encourage a cooperative and congenial working relationship between others, both within and outside the company

• Identify new opportunities for Amphenol and document market trends for company product roadmaps

• Work with the Product Management team to develop and respond to products that resonate in the market place

• Create and support a Strategic Sales Playbook for Strategic Accounts

• Must support sales team for technical sales support

• Work to identify new market opportunities

• Utilize the CRM tool to manage sales activity and expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, business, economics or related field, and/or equivalent experience

• Five years' successful sales experience preferred

• Sales experience in enterprise data centers or telecommunications market is preferred, but not required

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

• Excellent relational sales and presentation skills

Work Environment

This position may be considered remote, however, the employee may also spend time in a corporate office environment. Extensive travel is required for this position, both domestically and internationally as needed.
