The Landscape Construction Project Supervisor plays a vital role within our organization. This position requires a blend of advanced expertise in construction practices and a deep understanding of landscape maintenance. As the Landscape Construction Project Supervisor, you will guide a dedicated team of Foremen and Crew Members throughout the entire project lifecycle. Your involvement will span from pre-construction planning to site management and ultimately transitioning to maintenance. Building strong relationships with our clients is essential, as these connections are fostered through the creation of thriving landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Construction Project Managers during the estimation and budgeting phases.
  • Develop and oversee project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Assess and identify resource and equipment requirements for field operations.
  • Manage daily construction site activities effectively.
  • Be prepared to work alongside Foremen and Laborers when necessary.
  • Facilitate the transfer of project knowledge to the Maintenance Team upon project completion.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members to enhance their skills and responsibilities.
  • Exhibit a daily commitment to excellence in all aspects of work.
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on the job site.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in landscape construction; a degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to build rapport with general contractors, landscape architects, and client representatives.
  • Experience with irrigation systems is a plus.
  • Proven experience in supervising, training, and developing team members.
  • Strong ability to interpret blueprints, planting plans, and other technical specifications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of tools, equipment, and best practices in construction and landscape maintenance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Good physical condition and endurance; capable of lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license.
