About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Digital Citizenship team. As a key member of our Agile team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting software solutions that drive business value and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop full-stack applications using multiple technologies, including React JS, React Native, Java, Spring, Kubernetes, and NoSQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify short- and long-term goals, review and provide feedback on proposed solutions, and perform design and code reviews.
  • Develop efficient code to automate repetitive and manual tasks, and maintain an unwavering focus on observability and measurement.
  • Direct root cause analysis of critical business and production issues, and ensure that all solutions are scalable and maintainable.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development of highly scalable applications.
  • Experience working with micro-services architecture and distributed systems.
  • Passion for reviewing code, expertise with automation tools, and strong customer focus and obsession with quality.
  • Proficiency in back-end technologies, including Java and Spring Boot, and front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS or React Native.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and a passion for staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

We require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related area, and 3 years of experience in software engineering or a related area. Alternatively, we also consider candidates with 5 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
