Methodist Home for Children provides comprehensive juvenile assessments in a residential setting.

We aim to match youth between the ages of 10 and 17, specifically Level II offenders, with the most appropriate services in their communities.

Role Overview:


As an Assessment Center Supervisor, you will oversee the care provided to youth at the Assessment & Crisis Center, engage them in assessment activities, and ensure the safety and security of the physical property.

This position involves supervising and training Youth Care Workers in providing care to youth residents, implementing direct care services in accordance with established protocols, and collaborating with team members to create and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and train Youth Care Workers in providing care to youth residents
Implement direct care services in accordance with established protocols
Engage youth in assessment activities and therapeutic interventions
Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the facility and its residents
Collaborate with team members to create and implement individualized care plans
Provide guidance and support to staff in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress and incidents
Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures

Qualifications:
At least 21 years old
High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Previous supervisory or staff management experience, preferably in a social services setting
Experience working with youth in a residential or therapeutic environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
Valid NC driver's license and ability to pass required screenings and trainings
