Assessment Center Supervisor

About the Role:
As a key member of our team, the Assessment Center Supervisor will oversee the care provided to youth residents at the Eastern Area Juvenile Crisis and Assessment Center. This role involves supervising and training Youth Care Workers, implementing direct care services, and engaging youth in assessment activities.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train Youth Care Workers in providing care to youth residents
- Implement direct care services in accordance with established protocols
- Engage youth in assessment activities and therapeutic interventions
- Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the facility and its residents
- Collaborate with team members to create and implement individualized care plans
- Provide guidance and support to staff in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress and incidents
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures
Requirements:
- At least 21 years old
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Previous supervisory or staff management experience, preferably in a social services setting
- Experience working with youth in a residential or therapeutic environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Valid NC driver's license and ability to pass required screenings and trainings
