Assessment Center Supervisor

At Methodist Home for Children, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Assessment Center Supervisor. This position plays a pivotal role in providing hands-on supervision and training to Youth Care Workers, ensuring the safety and security of the physical property, and engaging youth in assessment activities and therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train Youth Care Workers in providing care to youth residents
- Implement direct care services in accordance with established protocols
- Engage youth in assessment activities and therapeutic interventions
- Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the facility and its residents
- Collaborate with team members to create and implement individualized care plans
- Provide guidance and support to staff in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress and incidents
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- At least 21 years old
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Previous supervisory or staff management experience, preferably in a social services setting
- Experience working with youth in a residential or therapeutic environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Valid NC driver's license and ability to pass required screenings and trainings
