Working within our Technical Field Services (TFS) division enables professionals to engage in practical work while directly interacting with clients. We specialize in servicing complex instrumentation such as GC, GC/MS, LC, LC/MS, IC, and Dissolution. While the equipment is intricate, TFS provides a comprehensive training program for new hires, along with ongoing training to ensure our service staff remains proficient. Our TFS Specialists possess diverse skill sets, including strong technical knowledge, customer service expertise, and effective problem-solving techniques. We have been delivering services to clients for over 20 years, achieving consistent growth and creating numerous advancement opportunities across various regions.
Your Role at Pace
Instrument Services Specialists are tasked with delivering technical solutions and advanced instrument support services to TFS customers, which include external clients, laboratory chemists within the Pace lab network, and departmental colleagues. They also offer a range of support services related to analytical instrumentation, including:
- Routine maintenance, installation, and performance testing of instruments
- Application software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- On-site and remote customer assistance
- Technical training on analytical systems
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Maintaining positive customer relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field
- Preferred experience in equipment servicing
- Familiarity with chromatography systems (HPLC, UHPLC, LCMS, GC, GCMS, IC)
- Experience with LC/MS or LC/MS/MS is a plus
- Strong customer service abilities
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
