Automotive Maintenance Engineering Specialist at NetGroup Inc.

As an Automotive Maintenance Engineering Specialist at NetGroup Inc., you will be instrumental in strategizing, designing, and executing maintenance initiatives to guarantee uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance engineering tasks, including the evaluation of mechanical and electrical engineering standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to refine maintenance protocols and reduce operational costs.
  • Assist in addressing subcontractor challenges related to maintenance functions.
  • Develop and enforce standards and policies for environmental management, operational procedures, inspections, and equipment upkeep.
  • Investigate and recommend the acquisition of new machinery and systems to boost plant productivity.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Perform pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical maintenance on equipment, including alignments, welding, and fabrication as necessary.
  • Conduct lubrication of machinery and execute maintenance tasks following established procedures.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities utilizing methodologies such as Kaizen and VPS.
  • Diagnose issues by monitoring operations and employing testing tools for condition-based maintenance.
  • React to emergency situations, replacing, adjusting, and repairing components as required.
  • Document actions taken and communicate issues effectively, escalating when necessary.
  • Contribute to team objectives by achieving related outcomes.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while utilizing tools and equipment.
  • Carry out maintenance tasks on elevated platforms, scaffolds, and man-lifts.
  • Employ bolt and gasket techniques, including torqueing and tensioning equipment.
  • Interpret equipment manuals and schematics to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
  • Execute maintenance operations in confined spaces.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of pertinent maintenance engineering experience.
  • Expertise in electroelectronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical maintenance.
  • Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in an industrial environment.
  • Experience with continuous improvement strategies such as Kaizen.
  • Ability to work autonomously with strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Willingness to engage in training programs and professional development opportunities.
Compensation:

Base Salary: $85,000 + DOE
