Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist in environmental engineering initiatives from inception to completion, focusing on sustainability and energy efficiency.
  • Perform energy evaluations, site assessments, and impact analyses to uncover opportunities for reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
  • Conduct environmental studies and prepare impact reports for new developments, manufacturing processes, and regulatory permits.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and calculate energy and CO2 reductions for various engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise and implement sustainable practices that minimize environmental footprints.
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision while influencing peers through clear communication of policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in energy management, preferably within the automotive or heavy-duty manufacturing industries.
  • Comprehensive understanding of energy efficiency, decarbonization strategies, and data analytics.
  • Experience with various Energy Programs and renewable energy solutions.
  • Proficient in calculating energy and CO2 reductions in engineering contexts.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, coupled with a positive and open-minded approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with the automotive and heavy-duty truck sectors is advantageous.
