Universal Energy Solutions is a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions. We are seeking a Customer Service and Sales Retention Representative to join our team in Schaumburg, IL.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales growth. As a Customer Service and Sales Retention Representative, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns, and providing sales solutions to retain their business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with customers to understand their needs and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Providing accurate and helpful information about our products and services.
- Identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling to existing customers.
- Processing customer orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize customer retention.
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure the prompt resolution of customer issues.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate customer records and interactions.
- Staying updated on industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate with customers.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience.
Requirements- Prior experience in customer service and sales, preferably in a call center or similar setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle difficult or irate customers with empathy and professionalism.
- Proven sales skills and ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of the energy industry is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Residence in or near Schaumburg, IL.
