Customer Service and Sales Development Specialist

We are seeking a Sales Development Specialist to join our team at Universal Energy Solutions in Schaumburg, IL. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Your duties will include proactively engaging with customers, providing accurate information about our products and services, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and developing effective sales strategies to maximize customer retention. You will also be responsible for maintaining detailed and accurate customer records and interactions, staying updated on industry trends and product knowledge, and adhering to company policies and procedures at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Provide accurate and helpful information about our products and services in a business-to-business setting.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling to existing customers.
- Maintain detailed and accurate customer records and interactions.

Requirements:
- Prior experience in customer service and sales, preferably in a call center or similar setting.

- Proven sales skills and ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
