Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operator to join our team at Guardian Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Work with fellow warehouse operators to receive, store, and ship materials in a safe and timely manner.
  • Equipment Operation: Load and unload flatbed or box trailers with empty barrels being received or shipped to offsite storage.
  • Machine Operation: Operate various machines in the filling and dumping of barrels.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate barrel movement throughout the warehousing operation to ensure that the operation has the right barrels (type, cooperage, etc.) for a product being produced.
  • Maintenance Support: Assist maintenance personnel in the repair of equipment by shutting off, isolating, draining, and testing equipment.
  • Quality Control: Convey problems or potential problems to supervision.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to move 500 lb. barrels with minimal assistance, lift in excess of 75 lbs. repeatedly, and work in dusty conditions.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, personal computer skills, and mathematical skills.
