Job Title: Warehouse Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically capable Warehouse Operator to join our team at Guardian Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload flatbed or box trailers with empty barrels being received or shipped to offsite storage.
  • Operate various machines in the filling and dumping of barrels.
  • Coordinate barrel movement throughout the warehousing operation to ensure that the operation has the right barrels (type, cooperage, etc.) for a product being produced.
  • Assist maintenance personnel in the repair of equipment by shutting off, isolating, draining, and testing equipment.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Personal computer skills.
  • Mathematical skills are required.
  • Heavy physical requirements.
Physical Demands:
  • Lifting in excess of 75 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Physical mobility: extensive walking, climbing, stairs, kneeling, and stooping throughout the entire shift.
  • Standing for long periods, up to 6 hours.
  • Ability to work in dusty conditions.
  • Physical dexterity: Use of mechanical tools that require precision (cutting, wrenches, etc).
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to endure exposure to high heat and cold throughout the entire shift.
