Job Overview

DCS Corp is seeking a skilled Systems Engineering and Risk Management Specialist to provide critical support to an Army Project Manager. This role involves overseeing product engineering teams and managing risk assessment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a representative for the Director of Systems Engineering and Cybersecurity in both internal and external discussions.
  • Review and analyze systems engineering acquisition documents, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), and System Requirements Documents (SRDs).
  • Engage in the development and staffing of reference architectures; facilitate meetings to support these efforts and represent the Architecture lead when necessary.
  • Assess the completeness of technical documents and provide constructive feedback during various technical reviews, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Requests for Variances (RFVs), and several design reviews.
  • Offer oversight and direction for the established risk management process, participating in product-level risk meetings and coordinating O6 level Risk Management Boards.
  • Support technical directors and product teams as needed.
  • Participate in regular systems engineering meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Review and provide input on systems engineering documentation to enhance product lines.
  • Evaluate ECPs and RFVs to identify requirements and associated risks.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitive nature of customer-related requirements.
  • A Bachelor’s degree coupled with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is essential.
  • A Secret level clearance is mandatory.
