Position Overview: Systems Integration Specialist

DCS Corp is in search of a skilled Systems Integration Specialist to contribute to a significant post-acquisition program. This role involves providing essential engineering support for the integration of both hardware and software systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the systems engineering lifecycle, contributing to technical assessments and vital documentation such as requirements specifications, interface control documents, and engineering strategies.
  • Participate in various technical evaluations and product enhancement discussions to propose improvements.
  • Work alongside platform integration specialists to facilitate the installation of hardware and software for experimental applications.
  • Analyze engineering schematics and offer technical guidance to the Integration team.
  • Perform validation and verification processes to ensure hardware and software operate effectively within host systems.

Qualifications:

Due to specific customer requirements, U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite for this position.

A Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 12 years of experience in systems engineering within DoD programs is required.

An active Secret security clearance is essential.

Knowledge of the DoD 5000 acquisition framework and experience with C5ISR systems or comparable electronic equipment is crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the integration of electronic systems onto diverse platforms is advantageous.
